My new assistant

Good help is hard to find. Yesterday we welcomed a new member to our family, he’s cute, fluffy and has a funny personality. Already in training to chase our pesky ducks from our pool he’s had great delight chasing bugs. Loves being up high, upside down and has 5 minute quick rechargeable batteries.

Today is his first day on the job currently sleeping  behind the computer. See good help is hard to find ;-)

Brendan & Renee – Ipswich Wedding Photographer

On the 19th of September, I had the pleasure of watching my baby cousin getting married. There wasn’t a tear spared upon Renee’s arrival! I find every wedding a pure delight to watch and photograph. Although I never realised how hard it was to photograph and have tears at the same time. Thankyou so much Renee and Brendan for sharing your special day.

Happy Mothers Day.

Sorry for the lack of posting. Once again life has been hectic lots of late nights catching up, sickness with children. Plus the normal day to day running. There is meaning to ‘not enough hours in the day’

It’s been a fun week, Friday morning I spent a few hours at Kindy with my youngest for Mothers Day. It’s funny to watch all these little boys and girls running around and hard to imagine in a blink of an eye they’ll be grown up. This weekend is all about my family, they’ve been feeling neglected for the last few months. So just after lunch we set off, scooters in the back and headed to Shorncliffe Jetty. I love it out there!!

While the two youngest ran off to play Miss 9 decided to let me have a play. Normally it’s hard to get a nice photo as I get the weird faces but today was just beautiful. There will be plenty more to come, it’s late and once again I should be in bed….

Happy Birthday to my little man

Wow it’s hard to believe that 4 years has past, since the birth of now Master 4. What can I say everyday is different and entertaining!! Over the last couple of months Master 4 has changed from the quiet shy child, into a talking, walking confident boy who is just full of life. I bribed him today for photos and of course it had to include the dog. Seriously who ever says never to work with children or animals is on the right track, so they both just went for it.

There are more images coming, so feel free to check back soon. Just currently arguing with computer space, sadly the computer is winning.

I’m slowly winning ….

There is one thing that can’t be tamed is the love that Master 4 has for his dog. Who also turned 1 yesterday.

01.01.09 Welcome to 2009

I hope everyone had a fantastic New Years night. There we’re no hangovers in our house and it was nice for the kids to sleep in this morning. As I mention in my earlier post I’m on a start to take a photo a day in January. It was so  hot here today the humidity must have been high, as the clouds covered for most of the day. Unlike yesterday there was no jumping straight into the pool for me. The kids were hot and bothered too busy fighting with each other to take our and get photos. So I looked for the next best thing, the cat. *sigh* you can see the excitement in his eyes too.

Day and Night

Last night when we arrived home this gorgeous green tree frog was sitting on the path. Since we’ve been here, I don’t think there is a day that we haven’t seen or heard the frogs. Christmas Eve we were lucky enough to see a baby green tree frog jumping around. Then today when the kids went swimming a little water dragon popped up on the rock to have a look around. So inquisitive, watching the children and having a black camera in it’s face. S/he played the part for me.

Things you find

This morning we decided to walk to school. On the way out the door I thought I’d grab my camera just incase we find something along the way. There are these beautiful flowers in a creek just around the corner but due to the storms they’re not looking as pretty, or standing at the moment. A little further up Master 3 and I found two gorgeous pony’s. At first one was a little hesitant and neighed at us, but it wasn’t before long one came up to us. Talk about a pony’s dream thick, green lush grass to eat.

Barnyard Animals – Animal Photographer

It’s been chaos here lately.

Last Saturday we went up to the Esk State School fete. Kerry and Kirsty did a outstanding job and when I last checked their heads were still attached to their bodies, just. My two youngest had the best time playing with the barn yard animals. Watching the firemen race around on the mini firetruck, watching the policeman being dunked. It was great to catch up with old friends too.

Few shots for R & D – Wedding Photography

Let me know which one, if any that suits. I’ve also got a shot of the buggy, I’ll add that in the morning as it’s a little too late now and we all know I need as much beauty sleep as I can get.
