ACOCP – David, Kristy and Renee

I’m a proud member of Australian Community of Children Photographers also known as ACOCP

With written permission I’m able to share with you Renee Leiani –  Renee meaning – Reborn and the meaning of  Leiani – Heavenly blossoms. We all found out this when Uncle Tommy came to visit …

9 days old and so chubbalious everyone in the room could eat her. I meet with Renee and her wonderful family. During this time I was able to capture some beautiful moments between Renee, Mummy, Daddy, Nan, Pop, Aunty and Uncle, Pop and Aunty. Bathing, cuddles, feeding how lucky was I able to cherish this moment. Thinking of you Renee, Kristy, Dave and family.

While I was there Kristy wrote a few words.

” We first found out that Renee Leiani had some problems at 20 weeks. We were told that she wouldn’t make it full term. It was a hard and stressful 9 months but Dave and I were hopeful and our faith that God would bring our little girl to us. Renee was born on 6.7.10 and she didn’t stop fighting from day 1. Her will to live and her strength has inspired both Dave and I and our friends and family. She is so graceful our little angel, a perfect little treasure who was just given a body that didn’t work that well.

She held our hand and would just stare at us. She had such big dark beautiful eyes that we get lost in. She has blessed our lives forever …..”

to show you how chubby Miss Renee is …

Thank you to Colleen and staff at Mater Mothers Hospital Brisbane.

R, J, J, Z and C family – Brisbane Family Photographer

Part III from Fridays shoot. It’s been awhile since I’ve had older boys to photograph. 13 ,10 , 7 (hope I’m right?) are fantastic to photograph. 3 boys + long grass = love!

Little Miss C I do love your smile!

This shot cracks me up. I was getting myself ready for the shot and could see these two hands pop up. Poor Z didn’t know what was happening.

D, S & H family – Gatton Family Photography

Part two to last Fridays shoot were D’s two beautiful girls. I remember growing up as a child, we’d always have family get togethers …. noisy and rowdy, love it!!  The last images reminds me of how much of a bond two cousins can have.

Bushwalking – Brisbane & Ipswich Photographer

It’s been awhile since my last post. Things have been chaos around here with the kids.

A quick photo post on our last bushwalk. We’ve been to this track a few times, never actually getting to do the full walk. It was cold to start off and you can tell by the last shot how it ended!!

a little helping hand

Here is where we became a little stubborn

This is the last 1k back to the car

Little Miss O – 8 Days old Ipswich Newborn Photographer

Today I had the pleasure of shooting Miss O. 8 days old and alot of patience we finally got her to sleep. Baby sister to three bothers, we should have made some noise!!

Thank you Kate and Dave, I’ll be in touch soon with the rest of your gallery.

Sweet Miss S – 10 months Brisbane and Ipswich Family Photographer

A mothers tender touch – Ipswich Family Photographer

I finally got to meet up with my beautiful friend Susan another talented photographer. Master E came for a visit and mini photo session. He’s sooo cute and the youngest of 8 boys. Yes, it amazes me everyday how carefree, relaxed and calm Susan is! Thank you Susan for coming over, can’t wait to catch up again!!

Miss Willamina 13 days – Brisbane Newborn Photographer

Second time lucky, is second time funny. Finally we had a sleep baby, she was so good!! Older brother (Master 2) whilest being my little assistant, he also kept me entertained!!

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a full black and white post.

Brenda and her spunky fuzz :p

Master 2 went in and stole a baby chick while we were busy taking the first image. Oh it was funny, as all I heard was he’s got a chicken. Expecting a large chicken to be flung under one arm, out pops this chick. Of course Brenda couldn’t help herself as I was working hard in pops this chick.

Sweet and innocent! A photographer knows when they need to go on a diet when you hear ‘bum bum’ love it, he still cracks me up!

Little Willamina 10 days old – Brisbane & Ipswich Newborn Photographer
